Dar Donab is in the dar el Pacha area, just two minutes by walk from Jamaa el fena square, and not far from the bahia palace and the museum of Marrakech. Riad Dar Donab is a splendid example of Moorish architecture, the dar Donab palace is set in the centre of Marrakesh's old town. The restoration on this traditional riad has been done entirely by hand, with warm earthy tones, Zelliges and mosaics and traditional Arabic furniture and fabrics. The internal courtyard, which serves as a cooling airy space as well as to shade the inhabitants from the world's prying eyes, has a glittering pool to immerse yourself in on hot days and plants all around, creating an exotic, mysterious and refreshing ambiance.
